Our Story

Ark-Valley Humane Society is selling t-shirts to raise money to help cover the cost of our new building addition to our Buena Vista shelter. The project is an addition to the existing AVHS Animal Shelter consisting of approximately 1,200 square feet that will include a reception, adoptable cat room, two small meet-and-greet rooms, and an ADA compliant bathroom. Site work includes reconfiguration of the existing gravel parking lot, concrete access walks and new landscaped planting area. New electric power and lighting and mechanical heating and ventilation systems will be provided for all additions. 

Founded in 1995, Ark-Valley Humane Society ensures the welfare of companion animals through compassion and care. With a Live Release Rate of 99%, Ark-Valley Humane Society is dedicated to providing each animal with the care they deserve and the hope for a second chance. Over 145 companion animals were spayed or neutered in 2017 through our Chaffee County Community Assistance Spay and Neuter programs. Our vision for the future is to enhance the lives of all companion animals through humane education and partnerships, to create a safer and happier world for all companion animals, and to enhance the human-animal bond through education and responsible pet ownership.

When will my items ship? Items typically ship within 2-4 weeks after the campaign end date. While we do our best to only feature items with reliable inventory, the delivery timeline may extend if your items encounter backorder issues. Covid-19 has had an outsized impact on many items, and backorder delays are more common. We'll let you know as soon as possible if this occurs. IgniteCX does not guarantee delivery by any date. Also, please note that IgniteCX's liability of the product is complete upon delivery, as confirmed by the shipping company. When will my credit card be charged? If you are making a donation, your credit card will be charged immediately after you place your order. If you are purchasing items, your credit card will be processed within 2 business days after the end of the campaign, rather than at the time of the original order. If, for some reason, this campaign does not reach its batch order minimum requirements, your item order may be cancelled. If you purchased items and made an additional donation, your total contributions will appear on your credit card statement as two separate transactions. How will this charge read on my credit card? Look for the descriptor text on your credit card statement for purchases and donations made through this website to appear similar to this example: BT [CAMPAIGN NAME#####].

Some credit card issuers may display a status of “recurring” on your statement. This does NOT mean that you will be charged multiple times for your donation or purchase. Please do your very best to be sure all of your order information is correct before placing the order. Because all items in this store are made to order, it can be very difficult to make changes. All sales are final unless product is defective. All items are produced and made to order at the end of each campaign. Please double check sizing before placing your order. What is your policy regarding bulk shipments? Once you have received your bulk shipment it is your responsibility to confirm that all individual orders have been accurately fulfilled.
